6.D.4. Check for Voting Machine Instructional Aids
6.D.4.a. Check for Facsimile Diagrams
The poll watcher has already compared a facsimile diagram to the ballot label.
The poll watcher will confirm that at least two (2) facsimile diagrams are posted inside the Polling Place and at least two (2) are posted outside the Polling Place.
The poll watcher should ensure that the facsimile diagrams are accessible to voters and do not impede voter traffic.
Voters should be able to review the facsimile diagrams without blocking the path of other voters.
Additional copies of the facsimile diagram should be available at the Election Judge's table and may be given to a voter without being returned.
6.D.4.b. Check the Instruction Model
An instruction model must be located at the Election Judge's table or along the path a voter must pass to reach the voting machines.
A voter may request instruction on how to use the voting machine.
The voter must be allowed to operate the instruction model.
