6.L. Proclaiming the Polls Open

At 6:00 a.m., one of the election judges will proclaim the polls open.

The polls shall be open from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Primaries.

The polls shall be opened at the hour of 6:00 a.m. and continued open until 7:00 p.m. of the same day, at which time the polls shall be closed;

In any municipality operating under Article 6 of this Act, the election polls shall be open at 6:00 a.m., and continued open until 7:00 p.m., of the same day, at which time the polls shall be closed,

Upon opening the polls one of the judges of election shall make proclamation of the same, and at least 30 minutes before the closing of the polls proclamation shall be made in like manner that the polls will be closed in half an hour.
