C. Registering To Vote Online or by Mail

Voters who register to vote online or register by mail may be asked to provide identification at the polling place in order to complete registration.

A voter who cannot or will not produce the required documentation in order to complete registration will be allowed to vote a provisional ballot.

Persons who apply to register to vote by mail but provide inadequate proof of identity to the election authority shall be notified by the election authority that the registration has not been fully completed and that the person remains ineligible to vote by mail or in person until such proof is presented.
