7.A. Voting at the Office of the County Clerk or Election Board

7.A.1. Voting at the Office of the County Clerk or Election Board

Voting at the office of the County Clerk of Office of the Election Board of Commissioners has the same procedures as voting at other early voting sites.

See: Chapter 6, In–Person Early Voting At An Early Voting Permanent Polling Place

A2. Registration

One important difference in voting at the office of the election authority and other early voting places is in registration.

Forty (40) Days Before the Election Until End–of–business Twenty–eight (28) Days Before the Election

A voter should be able to register to vote at the same location, but not necessarily within the polling place.

It is the local election authority's decision to provide a registrar within the polling place or ask the person registering to go to another area within the location to register to vote.

Twenty–seven (27) Days Before the Election until Sixteen (16) Days Before the Election

No voter registration will be available.

Fifteen (15) Days before the Election until End–of–Business the Day Before the Election

Grace Period registration is available and continues in–person at the Election Authority or in–person at the Polling Place until the polls close on Election Day.
