Chapter 6 – In–Person Early Voting At An Early Voting Permanent Polling Place.

6.C. After the Polls Close.

6.C.1. Every Day Of Early Voting, Except The Last.

6.C.1.a. Record the Tabulator Count.

If a tabulator is used in the Permanent Early Voting Place, wait until the last voter has voted, then write down the ballot count. If multiple tabulators are used, write down the vote count of each.

Text the count to your poll watcher team who will compare it to the the next day's count.

6.C.1.b. Election Records.

If provisional ballots, spoiled ballots, and or other election records are sent daily to the county clerk or local board of elections for storage until Election Day, witness the count, the packing, securing and handing off to the two election judges of different parties for delivery

If no election records are to leave the Permanent Early Voting Polling Place, witness the count and the securing of those records.

Forward the count to your poll watcher team.

6.C.1.c. Clean Up After Yourself.

Apply the Girl Scout rule of leaving a place better then you found it.

6.C.1.d. Sign Out.

Sign out, as required.

6.C.1.e. Securing the Room.

Witness the polling place room being locked.

Send a text message to the poll watcher team with the name of the person locking the door, and the time.
