7.E.6. Voter Signs the Ballot Application

Once the voter is confirmed to be registered, the ballot application will be filled out.

The Election Authority may choose to provide a printer that prints the voter information directly onto a pre-printed ballot application or a printer that prints a label containing the voter information to be attached to a pre-printed ballot application.

The Election Judge will ask the voter to review the information before signing the ballot application and confirming:

  1. The information, including the registered address, is correct.
  2. The voter is a registered voter.

After confirming the information, the voter will sign the ballot application.

In a primary, the ballot applications may be color-coded to indicate the political party ballot requested by the voter.
