2.A.3.b. Signing Credentials
Poll watchers can present copies of the poll watcher credentials where the signature of the Election Authority and the signature of the official of the sponsoring organization are copies. For the convenience of the poll watcher who uses multiple credentials, the poll watcher's information may also be copied.
The poll watcher's signature should not be a copy. A poll watcher should sign every credential presented.
A poll watcher is not required to sign their credentials in front of a poll worker or Election Judge.
Although, time and circumstance permitting, it is a nice gesture.
TIP: If a poll watcher needs multiple credentials, fill out all the poll watcher information, leaving the precinct and poll watcher signature blank. Copy the form. Fill in the precinct or name of the voting center and the signature as needed.
